With reference to your telegrar of the 25th

of December last I have the honour to inform

you that the C.A. have been instructed to arr

ange for the printing of 500 copies of Prof-

essor Simpson's report on Plague in Hong Fong,

A.B.C.D. FAH)

excluding those Appendices which have been rrint-

ed in the Colony , and to forward 450 canies

to you. The other 50 cnnies will be retained

for use in this countre. The Cel Cnc has been

asked privately to send home 50 copies of the

Annendices.above referred to. to complete theses

I should explain that 500 copies haveli

been ordered instead of 300 as suggested in

your tele ram, because orders had already been

given for lithographine 500 copies of the plans.
